Success Stories: Inspiration to Get Started

Sandy B Hockey Tournament

The Sandy B Hockey Tournament is a heartfelt annual memorial event that brings the community together for a day of hockey. Organized with support from Scleroderma Canada, this tournament exemplifies how personal passions can be transformed into impactful fundraisers. With the right resources and guidance, events like these not only run smoothly but also raise significant awareness and funds for scleroderma programs.

Pizza.co Pizza Fundraiser

In partnership with Pizza.co-HFX, Tya has created an ongoing initiative that combines great food with meaningful fundraising. Through monthly raffles featuring prizes like free pizza and garlic fingers, this collaboration has proven to be a simple yet effective way to support Scleroderma Canada. Partnerships like this show how local businesses and individuals can come together to make a difference.

Community Paint Night
A member of the scleroderma community took creativity to the next level by organizing a successful Paint Night fundraiser. Participants signed up to enjoy an evening of painting, connection, and fun, hosted at a local business that partnered to support the event. Not only did this Paint Night raise funds, but it also spread awareness about scleroderma to attendees and the broader community.

Events like these showcase how simple ideas can leave a lasting impact while bringing people together for a great cause.
